The Garden Company wins a national Business Award
Accredited contractor, The Garden Company celebrated the prestigious Pro Landscaper Business Award in the Garden Design Company category. The news was announced at a celebratory lunch at Old Billingsgate in London last Friday, attended by over 500 industry professionals. TV presenter Nicki Chapman presented the Awards.
The Association are pleased for The Garden Company for their continued success, notably being a very successful year for James and the team who won National Landscape Awards for both Garden Design and Domestic Garden categories in 2023.
James Scott, the company’s MD and Principal Designer, said:
"We are delighted to add this Award to our track record of achieving recognition nationally. We are particularly pleased that this Awards scheme recognises our business ethos, including our commitment to looking after our people and clients, working in partnership with suppliers, protecting the environment and supporting charities, including horticultural charity Perennial".
Now in their seventh year, the Pro Landscaper Business Awards differ from other industry Awards schemes by focusing on what it takes to run a successful business rather than on a specific project. The judges assess business factors including the entrants’ financial stability, client management, ways of working, sustainability, supplier relationships and staff training and development.
The judging panel provided very positive feedback to James and his team at The Garden Company, singling out their reputation for ‘high quality and client satisfaction’. One judge stated that they were ‘a worthy winner in this category and the benchmark for many garden design practices’; another described them as a ‘stand-out application’ and a fourth judge mentioned their ‘strong commitment to delivering top-quality work and exceptional client experiences while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth’.
