Stuart Simpson

Stuart has been in the landscaping and horticulture industry since 1985 beginning his career as Assistant Gardener on BBC Scotland "Beechgrove Garden" in Aberdeen.  Stuart then moved to work at the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988 with Findlay Clark then moved into their landscape department once the festival finished.  Stuart then spent 3 years in the south east of England with Waterers Landscape as a Maintenance Manager before returning to Scotland in 1992.  Stuart works as a Contracts Manager with Foregwood Landscaping and Lanrec Contracts before joining Ashlea Ltd in 2001.  Stuart has developed and grown Ashlea's presence in Scotland over the past 23 years into a "Go To" contractor providing high quality landscape projects. Stuart spend 3 years on the companies largest project to date, Sighthill TRA in Glasgow which won a BALI National Award in 2023 for Regeneration Scheme over £500k.
