ROLO

I have not received my ROLO certificate.
Certificates are issued by your training provider. If you have not received your certificate, please contact your training provider directly.

If you are looking to apply for a LISS CSCS card and you have not yet received your ROLO certificate, please upload a letter from your training provider outlining the date you took your course and your pass mark. We will then be able to start processing your application.

I’ve lost my ROLO certificate how do I get a replacement?
Certificates are issued by your training provider. Please contact your training provider to obtain a replacement certificate.

What is the minimum age for a ROLO course?
16+

LISS CSCS

How long does the application process take? 
It can take up to 28 working days for card applications to be processed and sent.

How much does a LISS CSCS card cost?
£38 

What qualifications do I need for a LISS CSCS card?
Qualification requirements are dependent on the type of card you are applying for. Please see our dedicated web pages for more details.

I have an overseas qualification, can I still get a LISS CSCS card?
Applicants will be required to obtain an Industry Skills Statement from ECCTIS. Further information can be found on our overseas qualification web pages. 

What route should I choose on my application?
If you are not sure please choose certificate of competence and the team will change accordingly.

I applied for my card, but it hasn’t arrived yet?
If you applied for your card more than 30 working days ago, please email the LISS CSCS team at liss@bali.org.uk, including your full name and the date of your application. We will then check the status of your application and confirm back to you.

My LISS CSCS has expired, can I still renew it?
LISS CSCS cards can only be renewed 6 months prior to, and up to 6 months after, the expiry date printed on the card. The expiry date of a renewed card will be the expiry date of the original card plus the lifespan of the card.

If the expiry date is more than 6 months ago, you will need to apply for a new card.

I’ve lost my LISS CSCS card, how can I get a replacement?
If your LISS CSCS card is still valid, you can apply on our website for a duplicate card. There is a processing cost of £38. 

I’ve changed my name, how do I update my card?
You will need to apply for a duplicate card and provide proof of your new name. There is a processing cost of £38. 

I’ve changed address, do I need to notify you?
You can update your address details by logging into your account on the CSCS website.

My qualification certificate is in another name what do I need to supply?
Please provide a copy of your marriage certificate or deed poll showing your name change

I cannot find my qualification certificates, can I still apply for a card?
To apply for a card you will need to show proof of your qualification. You will therefore need to contact your qualification awarding body.

If you have previously held a LISS CSCS card please send a photo or scan of the front and back of the card to liss@bali.org.uk and we will review the qualifications stated and confirm if you are able to apply for a card without providing the certificate.

My degree is not listed on your website - will it be accepted?
If your degree is not listed on our website please send a copy of your certificate and transcripts to liss@bali.org.uk and the team will check and confirm if it is an acceptable qualification and what card you can apply for. 

What do I do if my card was issued under industry accreditation?
Industry accreditation is no longer an accepted route when applying for a new card.

If your existing card is expiring, you can still apply for a new card using industry accreditation. However, this option will expire on 31 December 2024 with no further extensions.

Technical Issues 

I cannot get to the payment screen; how do I progress my application?
Occasionally attachments can be too big. Please reduce the file size and re-upload. If you still find you are having issues, please continue your application without the attachments and send them separately to liss@bali.org.uk, including the full name of the person the card is for.
