Paul’s training and qualifications include three years at Merist Wood Horticultural College where he studied Landscape Horticulture and Landscape Practices, passing with Distinction, one year at Brinsbury College where he gained at NVQ3 in Arboriculture and one year at The Garden Design School where he passed his Diploma in Garden Design with Credit, AQF L3 in Horticulture and Landscape Practices and NVQ L7 in Senior Construction Management.
When Paul began The Landscape Gardener in 1991 he was serving as a full time Watch Manager at Guildford Fire Station in Surrey. Paul quickly built up a reputation for innovative garden design, superior quality of workmanship and exceptional customer service and so the business quickly flourished. In 2008 Paul left the fire service to focus all his energies on expanding The Landscape Gardener into a multi-skilled and multi-disciplined company providing a bespoke garden design service and range of landscape and specialist services to complement it.
