Projects

Formal Courtyard

Completed: 14/08/2024
Location: East Yorkshire
Budget: £12,000.00

Garden design in collaboration with owners to design the immediate courtyard for a stylish yet relaxed outside lifestyle and dining area, with plenty of screening for privacy.

Clifton Moor

Completed: 01/09/2021
Location: York
Budget: £45,000.00

Clean lines and natural materials with stone and hardwood combined with easy to manage planting for a contemporary but timeless garden.

York stone and Indian sandstone provide a hardwearing and attractive finish to the patio and raised beds.  Iroko hardwood used for the pergola, and floating pot fountain garden feature in the dining area.

Simple to manage planting softens the overall look and reinforces the sense that this is a peaceful and welcoming space.

Great Ayton

Completed: 01/09/2020
Location: North Yorkshire
Budget: £135,000.00

An appreciation for wildlife meets formal planting and a passion for self sufficiency.

Built in three stages over a period of two years; a ‘wild’ pond was given the time to naturalise, complemented by a formal water feature that meanders through the three tiers of the garden; tying the design together as a whole.

Real wood decking and a summer house complete with a mobile kitchen allow the couple to entertain and cook their favourite dishes with ingredients picked straight from their allotment area.

Adel

Completed: 01/09/2019
Location: Leeds
Budget: £65,000.00

Having sketched their ideas into an initial draft, Country Gardens landscaping team were invited to work with them in transforming their drawings into reality.

Strong geometric design with family friendly spaces.

Balanced with a softer more natural look with muted planting within the geometric shaping, such as corner planting in the seating area mentioned earlier, good use of existing mature woodland and a clever water feature.

Driveway

Completed: 15/02/2018
Location: Bubwith, York

Removing an old tarmac drive and replacing it with this stunning Indian Sanstone changed the front of this house completely. The customer went away on holiday for 2 weeks, when they left the old black drive was dull and boring, when they came home they arrived to this, they were over the moon at the change and how it brightened up the house.

Mosaic

Completed: 15/02/2018
Location: Haxby, york

This was part of a larger project designed by Earthworks, we built the garden for the customer and installed this gorgeous mosaic created by David James of Olicana Mosaics. This is the first time we have worked with David but we hope to have the opportunity to recommend and work with David again many times in the future.

Medium city garden

Completed: 15/02/2018
Location: Harrogate

This garden designed by Lizzie Tulip, before the Work it was a dull worn, lawned mess which the design breathed new life into. The garden when finished was a usable space to be enjoyed, looking much larger than before and the clever use of plants suitable for this shady space gave colour and interest to what had previously been a very drab garden.
