Projects
Cheltenham Race Course
We have been working in association with The Jockey Club as part of Queen's Green Canopy planting at Cheltenham Racecourse. A wide range of our nursery grown stock will be planted ranging from winter Flowering Cherries to a variety of Silver Birches. Picking trees that would provide interest for spectators on arrival to the course was a significant factor to consider and to fit the overall beauty of the surrounding racetrack. We have lots more planting to complete at the racecourse over the next 12 months.
Gilboa Arboretum
Our Landscapes department planted 36 nursery grown trees for a private client that wanted to create an arboretum. Each tree was specifically picked and carefully placed to allow their natural growth over the coming decades. Mixing larger conifers such as Metasequoia glyptostroboides and Pinus Sylvestris with flowering cherries and a mix of Sorbus to promote wildlife.
