David ‘Fred’ Perry joined Frosts in early 2005 as Group Operations Manager. He is accountable to the Board of Directors for producing and applying the company’s Quality Standards and Health, Safety and Environmental Policy. Other responsibilities include implementation of day to day Health and Safety requirements, induction, manual handling and machinery operator training for all staff, production of company Method Statements, Risk, DSE, Manual Handling, COSHH Assessments, accident investigation, RIDDOR reporting and SHE Audits. On 1st November 2010, Fred was promoted to Director.
Through Fred’s strong management skills and determination, he has seen the company replace its original QMS 14001, 18001 and 9001 systems with the more stringent Lloyds UKAS 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 accreditations.
Prior to this, Fred had an exemplary 22-year career in the Royal Air Force, principally based in mechanical engineering on Ground Support Equipment, but latterly in Health and Safety; facilitation of technical and managerial training; training needs, analysis and development; equipment procurement and project management
Fred became a Shareholder in August 2018 following a Management Buy-Out
