Projects
Millennium Village, London
GreenBlue Urban was thrilled to support the Royal Borough of Greenwich Landscape Architects Turkington Martin alongside various Landscape Contractors, across the many different phases over many years, meeting their urban tree planting requirements.
Supporting Bennett Construction in achieving its vision of above-ground enhancement to include tree protection and social cohesion with street furniture.
Accompanying plots 201,202 and 203 saw the installation of 15 StreetPark Bordo Benches, a large popular wooden bench, that can be individual or connected to comprise of long lines or geometric shapes.
Huddersfield Station Gateway
GreenBlue Urban supported Kirklees Metropolitan Council with its commitment to sustainable urban development and green infrastructure by adopting best practices in urban tree planting, using Arborsystem products this project is guaranteed long-term success.
The council specified the RootSpace Soil Cells due to its capabilities of weaving around utilities such as pipes and cables. The interconnected underground network of access to the soil will enable the trees to thrive and flourish whilst communicating with each other’s roots.
Fleet Valley Pocket Park
GreenBlue Urban supported Land Use Consultants and client LB Camden to design a full SuDS feature, to include tree pits for water storage for 48m3.
Products included RootSpace 600, Ribbed Root Barrier additional flat barrier for the protection of the new paving, ArborCell to provide an extra layer on attenuation, Arborguy, guying for the 4 planted trees, Aborvents to enhance the aeration through to the ArborCell Hydro Soil, fed by Mycorrhiza and irrigation with RootRain Urbans.
The raingarden provides a wealth of vegetation a biodiverse haven, capturing surface water and avoiding the sewer network.
