Newport

We were appointed to provide outstanding landscaping services to 296 plots and the POS areas, enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of the development. Our work focused on creating sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and low-maintenance green spaces tailored to the needs of the project.

Station Road, Mickleover

Jack Moody Landscaping was entrusted with delivering bespoke landscaping solutions to enhance both the aesthetic appeal and functional design of Station Road. Our comprehensive approach ensured the landscaping complemented the architectural integrity of the development while addressing its specific needs and long-term sustainability goals.

Services Provided

·        Cleared the site of debris and existing vegetation to prepare for landscaping

·        Ensured a clean slate for the successful implementation of design plans.

·        Plot Landscaping to 203 plots (Planting, Hedging, Turf to front)

Bretby Crematorium

Completed: 10/05/2024
Location: Burton on Trent
Budget: £97,000.00

Marked out new planting beds and removed turf. Cultivated turf and planted shrubs and trees. Bark mulched planting beds.

Installed raised oak timber planting beds incorporating overhead structures for climbers. These also had steel rope between them to act as the climbing aid. All block paving was re-installed to suit the planting beds. Once beds were complete these where then filled with soil and planted. Cotswold stone finish.

We also had to tie existing block paving into higher level slabs to form a seamless transition from each level.

Horizon 1A and 1B

Completed: 01/03/2024
Location: Bolsover
Budget: £1,200,000.00

Key Features:

Large soil shift on site – 6000m3 top soil, 8000m3 imported soil.
Barked areas before planting whips
Planted over 50,000 plugs, 300+ trees, 20,000 whips and 10,000 shrubs.
Vast amount of seeded areas and bark.

Achievements

Used contract grown swale plugs to ensure high quality product meeting specification.
Materials came from recycled sources.
Used initiative to ensure speedy installation maintaining standards.
Project was completed within the requested time frame without any issues on site. The client was extremely happy with all aspects of our work.

HCA Specialist Hospital Facility

Completed: 01/08/2023
Location: Birmingham
Budget: £170,000.00

Complete transformation to the building exterior

Innovation & Added Value

Recycled soil was used in the planting beds. Wild flower turf used to increase biodiversity. Flowpoint grout was used for jointing to reduce movement in the paving and sets.

Achievements

The project came with minor disruption with regards to space and numbers on site. This was resolved by working outside of standard working hours which reduced interaction and disturbance with other trades and made it easier to receive night deliveries.

Mercia Crematorium

Completed: 07/07/2023
Location: Essington
Budget: £154,300.00

Key Features:

Vast amount of planting across the site
Planted an area dedicated to children with colourful shrubs and plants.
Installed bark mulch paths to link areas together
Planted large amount of hedging to help segregate planting beds
Seeding to the outer area of the site using a woodland and wildflower mix
Used weaver fencing to help form a walkway out of the chapel.

Blossomfield Road Care Home

Completed: 18/03/2023
Location: Solihull
Budget: £230,000.00

Key Features:

Carried out all landscaping works for care home development
Installed a sensory garden
Planted woodland/native shrubs and over 3000 bulbs.
Specimen feature shrubs and plants were positioned in small beds.
