Josh Dow

JDS began in 2011 when I started gardening for some extra pocket money while in high school, working weekends and in the school holidays it quickly became a passion. I left school in 2015 to attend college at Oatridge for 2 years instead of going to university and JDS Gardening Services officially began. The company went from strength to strength, our first noticeable achievement was when I finished 5th place finish in the world skills UK championships. Followed by winning the Small Business Sunday award presented by Theo Paphitis who is a personal hero! JDS moved to its first (and current) premises in 2020 (and Josh’s mum finally got her sheds back!!!). The company continues to grow offering new services and our small family of friendly and professional gardeners continue to be the best teams in Edinburgh! When I'm not working I like to go cycling, practice Judo and meet friends for food and beer!
