Projects
Beaconsfield Project
A truly considered outdoor space that not only complimented our client’s home, but also showcased their love of rural France. We designed the garden in-house and collaborated with our client to ensure the design was as they envisioned and more.
Designed & built by RAA in collaboration with the homeowner. To establish an authentic rural outdoor space, we sourced reclaimed materials from around the country and wider Europe- including fruit trees from specialist suppliers and bespoke tiles from France. These materials were vital to help create an aged but timeless feel to the garden, whilst creating unique features throughout the to escape into.
The space includes five water features, an orchard, a wooden jetty and a bespoke barn – built with the Barn Partnership.
We knew this project demanded more than your average development, so it deserved the time invested to translate such a precise vision. We incorporated two separate plots totalling 1.2 acres which transformed the footprint of the landscape and gave us the space to create a truly immersive landscape with exquisite features.
Chelsea Flower Show 2019
This unique space was built on the Triangle to showcase what will form part of the RHS Garden Bridgwater – one of Europe’s largest garden projects. Building for Tom Stuart-Smith was a fantastic opportunity to not only work with an award-winning designer but to broadcast our love of transformative outdoor spaces.
The space frame centrepiece was put together on site and required millimetre precision during installation to ensure complete accuracy. After installation, we smoothed over the joints to give the frame a sleek, complete look.
To make the space truly remarkable and to honour the vision of Tom Stuart-Smith, our planters installed over 13,000 flowers throughout the space.
We worked collaboratively with fabricators, drivers, planters and scaffolders to achieve a fantastic result.
“After the success of the project, we were honoured to be asked to re-build the space at it’s new permanent home in Salford, Manchester – which will be open to the public in 2020.”

Cookham Project
Partnership: James Lambert
Awards: 2018 APL Supreme Winner
Project: Dean Grange
Dean Grange is a newly built luxury family home, designed by James
Lambert Architects. The garden design and build needed to both
complement and reflect the high specification and use of quality
contemporary materials within the house. The outdoor space is
made up of the following areas: wild flower meadow, formal rear
lawn, fire pit/entertaining area, orchard & walled kitchen garden;
sunken garden, children's play area, pool & guest house terrace.
The overall plot is approx. 9 acres. The project took around 12
months to build. Much was undertaken during the construction of
the house which presented logistical challenges and negotiations
with the main contractor to ensure the project would be completed
on time and within budget.
