James Scott (MBALI, FSGD) is Managing Director of The Garden Company Ltd and its Principal Designer. James and his team understand the transformative quality of great garden design. His garden designs bring enduring value to clients’ lives and he is recognised for his work and his commitment to the industry. With over 30 years of experience in garden & landscape design, James has won 20+ BALI awards since setting up the company including a prestigious Special Award for Best Design and Build project in 2022. James serves on the BALI adjudication panel for new designer members, regularly judges Pro Landscaper's 'Small Projects Big Impact' Awards and in 2022 he was recognised by Pro Landscaper as one of the Most Influential People in landscaping today. Based in Hertfordshire, James and his team of designers work throughout South-East England and North London.
