Woodland Wonder Entertaining Garden
From the first concept are clients were in love. Modernising the space, utilising the garden in the best way possible to make the most of the evening sun and harnessing the stunning views they had over the valley beyond. The property was set in a rural area, so it was important we harmonised the older, traditional aesthetic with a modern one.
The zoned space is perfect for sheltered outdoor cooking and dining or cosy evenings around the fire pit with friends and family, all while enjoying the rural views.
A Luxury Layout for a Premier League Player
The transformation started by removing mature shrubs, and pushing back the main patio area. We replaced the original dark paving with contemporary, smooth porcelain in larger slabs for a sleek and fresh look.
As the garden originally sloped upwards so we flattened out the ground for the pool to have terraced areas throughout. We built a sunken gas-powered fire pit surrounded by seating and artificial hedging for a cosy feel including a dedicated cooking and dining area, complete with a built-in worktop sink and gas BBQ.
Holiday Destination in the Back Garden
As this is a fairly flat area, we introduced raised granite look flower beds which added depth. Creating height with timber archways and trellis additions helped the garden feel private and secluded.
The steel pergola creates pleasant shade in one of the hottest spots of the space, making for comfortable and enjoyable outdoor dining.
As for the relaxing element of the garden, a large lounging area has been designed next to a dedicated hot tub zone complete with a composite decking surface for a luxurious feel underfoot.
