Becs Newman

Born in Malta, Becs also lived in Germany growing up (her father was in the Royal Engineers) and she finally ended up in Hampshire at the age of 16.

Following A-Levels, Becs worked abroad in Italy, Greece & Corsica for Mark Warner before working for De La Rue helping to design and order banknotes; a highlight of which was a visit to the Royal Mint!

Prior to joining us here at Wildflower Turf Ltd, Becs was at Amer Sports for 9 years. Here she worked with brands such as Wilson Tennis, Salomon and Atomic and managed a team looking after major key accounts including Sports Direct and Snow & Rock.

Since joining us five years ago, Becs has seen the business grow and now looks after our social media, advertising and recruitment. Becs is also our general organising guru! She lives locally in a small village where her mini-meadow is much-admired (especially during Lockdown 1.0, when the residents of the local estate greatly enjoyed her wildflowers during their daily walks!)  Becs is married with a 12-year-old daughter and country staffie called Nancy.
