BALI Award-winning Leicestershire Garden Design Company have changed their name to The Garden Design Company, to better reflect their services after significant growth of their business. Jodie Fedorko, Head of Marketing, talks about the decision and the past year below.

What a year. No, it’s not what you think.
You’ll not find us mentioning the ‘C’ word here.
Despite the current situation, we’ve powered through and had a great year. A milestone year you could say in our young business.
In September, we'd found out we’d won a BALI National Landscape Award for our Community and Schools Development entry: the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Garden at Leicester City Football Club's stadium.
It was an absolute honour to receive such an accolade for a project so dear to our hearts and one we will never forget.
Forwarding a couple of months later to the 1st November, we celebrated another fantastic occasion: our eight year anniversary.
From humble beginnings and over 15 years in the landscaping industry. Brothers Barry and Jeff began their journey as Leicestershire Garden Design Company’s business owners.
Little did they know it would become the scale it is today. Actually, to an extent, they did.
Because they’ve striven hard and built our awesome team from the very bottom - like many new fledgeling companies.
Some of our team have moved on over the years and others have been with us from the very start. And are still thriving with us today in the very core of our business. Each, a significant part of who we are and what we stand for.
Over the past 8 years, we’ve grown our services, developed our team and evolved so much so, our original company name – Leicestershire Garden Design Co. – which we lovingly gave ourselves, no longer serves who we are, now.
Currently, we transform gardens over 5 midland counties. We’re no longer JUST Leicestershire Garden Design Company. But we are THE Garden Design Company.
And so, as of the 1st November 2020, we officially changed our company name to The Garden Design Company.
It’s business as usual. We’re still very much continuing to fulfil dreams and improve the quality of life with stunning garden transformations.
Except now we have a new name and a fresh new look which reflects us, who we are now and where we envisage the business growing towards. And none of this would be even possible without our team, suppliers and loyal clients. Past, present and future.
So, here’s to many more awesome years to come.
