Apprenticeship Research: We need your help

04 Dec 2024 | BALI News

In October, Lantra and BALI launched a joint research project, “Bringing New Entrants into Landscaping”, which aimed to identify and the barriers to the uptake of apprenticeships in landscaping businesses across the UK and propose solutions to bring new entrants into the industry.

Access the survey here

The range of apprenticeships developed by the landscaping sector offer a good and practical way for people to start in our industry. But, uptake could be better. By taking part in the research, you will be helping Lantra and BALI understand some of the challenges that you face with apprenticeships within the industry.

Alongside the survey, work will be undertaken to look at the data of apprenticeship uptake and completion over the last five years.

Similar research in the Agriculture Sector is helping to inform their message to Government. We hope that this research will provide us with the data and information we need to support our discussions with industry partners and government on how to encourage and support the new entrants the industry requires over the coming months and years.

The research project is still open. We would encourage you to take the five minutes or so needed to complete the survey and play your part in helping us to grow the skills needed for tomorrow.

For any questions about the research, please contact the team at Lantra.
