Association partners with Lee Bestall to commemorate 50th anniversary at RHS Tatton

30 Jun 2022 | BALI News

The British Association of Landscape Industries has joined forces with Accredited Designer Lee Bestall MBALI to create a spectacular 50th anniversary themed installation at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, taking place 20 – 24 July 2022.

Lee Bestall, award winning garden designer and Director of Design & Innovation of Bestall & Co is creating an installation to help celebrate the Association’s landmark birthday. The inspiration behind the design is to help the Association engage with the public in a totally different way and promote the Association and its members at the renowned Cheshire Flower Show.

Lee said:

“I wanted to create an interactive garden where visitors would freely wish to step into the garden and have their picture taken as a memento of the day.  The Association have embraced this new approach, replacing their trade stand this year with the installation. We hope that this more engaging display will allow the Association to interact with a wider selection of people and promote the organisations’ message in this special anniversary year.”

Visitors to the show will be encouraged to take a seat in the oversized gold chair and snap a photo of themselves and tag the Association on social media to be in with a chance of winning a free planting plan for their own garden.

Lee Bestall added:

“We are delighted to be partnering with the British Association of Landscape Industries to create a memorable and fun installation to mark this momentous occasion in their history.”

Olivia McCullough Association Marketing and Communications Manager commented:

“We are proud to be partnering with Lee to bring a fun and eye-catching installation to the show. We would encourage show visitors to get involved and share and tag their photos to be in with a chance of winning the exceptional prize, generously provided by Bestall & Co.”

To be in with a chance of winning, simply take a photo of you in the installation; follow the Association’s Instagram account, and tag and share at @balilandscapeuk
