The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) is delighted to confirm that it has reached an agreement with the organisers of Gardening Scotland, Rural Projects, and BALI's Scotland regional committee, to host the first Trade Village inside the main Floral Hall at the Royal Highland Centre, near Edinburgh, over the weekend of 1-3 June 2018.
Rural Projects Managing Director, Martin Dare, commented on the arrangement; ''Gardening Scotland has a proven track record for attracting a large and enthusiastic audience, willing to spend money on improving their gardens. It provides the perfect opportunity to meet potential customers, many of whom come to the show not just for the plants, but also for inspiration and advice.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, providing exhibitors with the perfect opportunity to engage with visitors and talk to them about their landscaping needs. Gardening Scotland’s reputation for delivering high quality horticulture gives reassurance to clients about the professionalism of exhibitors. I look forward to welcoming BALI members to the show.''
BALI will take a 9sqm stand on Block 19 of the main hall and will be joined by a host of BALI Affiliate and Designer members from the region, to promote landscape design, build and supply. BALI will also have exclusive use of the main seminar theatre for the afternoon on Saturday 2 June, where guest speakers will discuss, amongst other topics, domestic garden design and build and help raise awareness of the landscape industry.
The Trade Village will be completely branded for BALI, ensuring visitors to the show can easily identify the association and its members amongst other exhibitors. Alongside a significant PR and advertising drive for members who take a stand on the Trade Village, they will also receive exclusive discounts on the sqm and reduced tickets for family, friends and potential clients.
