BALI Award judges adjudicate record number of entries
Following the news last month that 2018 has seen a record number of entries for over nine years for the BALI National Landscape Awards, the judges were back at Landscape House this week, adjudicating all of the entries which have taken a full three days of assessment to accomplish. The judges have now entered the final stretch of deliberation to decide on this year's National Award winners. The full list of winners will be revealed in September.
The BALI National Landscape Awards was brought back ‘in-house’ this year after partnering for a number of years with Horticulture Week
This year’s BALI Awards host has also now been announced; popular BBC 1 Breakfast anchor and sports journalist Dan Walker will be entertaining BALI members and industry guests and presenting members with their prestigious awards during the ceremony at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, on Friday 7 December 2018. Tickets are now available. Last year’s sell-out event had a waiting list and tickets for this year’s event are expected to be snapped up quickly.
Judges on the BALI Awards adjudication panel, chaired by Greg Allen, visited all of the entries over the summer. The Principal, Special and Grand Awards, selected from amongst the National Award winners, will be announced at the ceremony on 7 December.
