BALI Chalk Fund open forum
The BALI Chalk Fund would like to extend an invitation to all BALI Training Providers, along with colleges and providers of landscape, horticulture and garden design skills training, to join them at Landscape House, Stoneleigh Park for an Open Forum on Tuesday 10 September 2024.
The focus of the forum is to hear first hand how The Chalk Fund, along with the GoLandscape Skills and Careers team (Johnathan Pettit and Cheryl Ranner) can improve their support, as well as gather feedback for future development ideas. We will also be sharing how colleges can access funding for additional industry skills training for students and how we can motivate students through awards.

GroundsFest opportunities
The Open Forum is being held during the GroundsFest show, providing a further opportunity for training providers and students to engage with the industry. The GroundsFest organisers are keen to encourage colleges and their students to attend the event and have kindly offered the following:
- A free trade stand for your college/university at GroundsFest located in the education zone.
- A travel bursary for you to bring landscaping students to the show. This will allow them to meet with industry leaders, take part in training and demonstrations, and listen to educational seminars
If you would like to take advantage of this GroundsFest offer, please contact BALI’s Skills and Education Officer, Cheryl Ranner.
