BALI exhibits at first Specifi Landscape Roadshow Event

For the first time, BALI exhibited at Specifi Landscape’s meet-the-buyer event in London on Tuesday 5 February. BALI’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Darren Taylor, exhibited alongside several Registered members including artificial grass specialists Easigrass, living wall suppliers Mobilane, manufacturer of water management products ACO Technologies, hard landscaping experts Marshalls and urban lighting and street furniture specialists Aubrilam.

The event, where BALI are Programme Sponsors, saw over 100 people in attendance, including specifiers, landscape architects, ecologists and garden designers. BALI’s commitment to supporting the Specifi Landscape event programme in 2019 was a result of Managing Director Craig Thompson meeting Darren in late 2018. Following the meeting, where Craig explained the benefits of BALI supporting the Specifi platform where its contractor and designer members could meet new contacts in a relaxed and informal locale, BALI signed up for the 12 month agreement.

Specifi, which is now in its 5th year of operation and has 3,000 specifier attendees nationwide has seen rapid growth since its inception and is strongly positioned within the industry events calendar. The unique offer of a free 3-in-1 event including inspirational industry speaker, networking and dinner all underpinned by a free bar is perfectly positioned not only geographically but timely, within the working day. These easy to access events are central and close to transport links plus a post work start of 5pm means they are a great alternative to costly national events not to mention the socialising benefit a free bar and dinner has to offer.

Up until October BALI will be exhibiting at 7 more Specifi Landscape events around the UK, including major cities Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh, with the latter scheduled for 26 February at The Assembly Rooms.  

With the first London event now under BALI’s belt, the association is looking forward to meeting potential new members, and, supporting current members in the Scottish capital at the end of the month.
