BALI joins SGD for LCGD 10th Anniversary Takeover event
The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) is delighted to be working alongside the Society of Garden Designers to participate in the London College of Garden Design's last 10th Anniversary Takeover Info Burst events at Regent's University, Regent's Park, London, on Monday 11 June. The event, which will be hosted by LCGD Directors Andrew Fisher Tomlin and Andrew Wilson, starts at 6pm and will last two hours.
Tickets cost £10 per person and all profits will go to industry charity Perennial. The event, titled 'We are Family - Designers and Landscapers Together' will focus on how we might all work better together and how this might work in practical terms. BALI Registered Designer and Board Director Marian Boswall MBALI MSGD, Registered Designer Nigel Philips and Ramon Lawal from BALI Registered Contractor Outdoor Creations will discuss how garden designers and landscape contractors can work better together, using practical examples and sharing experiences with the audience.
They’ll also talk about how they can support each other when dealing with the client; what happens if things go wrong; how do we make each other look professional. Finally, they will look at how at the end of a new garden creation, we can work to promote each other and the work carried out.
