BALI North Thames presents 'An Evening with David Dodd'
On Tuesday 13 February, BALI North Thames hosted their second event of the year, ‘An evening with David Dodd’. David relived his landscape career spanning over 30 years with great trials and tribulations to now becoming one of the industry’s most influential businessman.
When discussing his career highlights, David reminisces about his college days and how working as an apprentice in 1987 has shaped his career path, leading to many great acquisitions. One of those projects is co-founding the BALI initiative GoLandscape, which inspires and retains young people coming into Landscaping as a serious career option.
BALI North Thames Regional Chairman, Darren Skidmore was delighted with the turn out “Wow!, what a great evening and fantastic attendance, so a big thanks to everyone involved. Dave proved to be a good crowd puller, and he didn’t disappoint, putting on a great talk about his varied and interesting career in landscaping, which everyone seemed genuinely interested In. It was good to catch up with the regular attendees and also chat with potential new members; this is something we hopefully can build on”.
David summarised the evening by posting a tweet “Great fun reliving 30 years of landscaping tonight for @BALI_Landscape North Thames. 4 hours to get to Hatfield but a great crowd and a great new regional chairman @darren_skidmore”
