Inspire the next generation of landscaper professionals
GoLandscape is the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) information campaign to promote careers in landscaping. Primarily aimed at encouraging young people to consider a career in landscaping; it also looks at inspiring career changers, as well as challenging false perceptions of what the industry entails.
An important part of this campaign is our network of GoLandscape Ambassadors – people, like you, already in the industry who want to share their passion and their story as a way of inspiring people to look at landscaping as an attractive and exciting career choice.
We will be at events that you might want to attend if they are local to you. We will send you details so that you can decide if it’s something you would like to do. Alternatively, you may already have good local contacts and want to arrange your events. If this is the case, please let us know so that we can log the details and support your attendance.
Whatever you decide to do in your Ambassador role, we are here to support you. Being an Ambassador is not an onerous or daunting task. So, we will help you by providing you with some training as well as providing resources and support to help you present your story and answer questions with groups of students, or at other engagements. All we ask is that Ambassadors attend at least one event or opportunity within a rolling 12-month period. It is completely up to you when, where and what type of engagements you attend.
If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, please scan the QR code or complete the sign-up form here. We will get in touch to arrange an introductory session to set you on your way.
