Cultura is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious ISO 45001:2018 certification, the new international standard for Occupational Safety and Health. This replaces its existing OHSAS 18001 certification.

ISO 45001:2018 is a globally recognised occupational health and safety standard developed by the International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO). It was developed to help businesses improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create safer working conditions.

With this certification, Cultura continues to demonstrate that the integrated management system and processes being implemented at all operational sites and business support offices meets the highest standards of safety management.

One of the most notable tenets of this new certification is the emphasis on leadership commitment as well as active employee engagement and confirms Cultura’s positive culture of embedding safety into its business objectives and strategic aims.

Phil Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Cultura said:

I am delighted with our ISO 45001 certification. It underpins our commitment to our employees, community and customers by continuously evaluating and improving our safety processes to ensure we exceed the highest standards. This new certification means that our customers can have full confidence in the way their projects will be approached and managed, and our staff can see we are focused on maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. It also aligns with our other key standards such as ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management).
