Diane McCulloch retires after 22 years of service to BALI members
After 22 years of working for and on behalf of BALI and its publications, Diane McCulloch is retiring at the end of 2023.
Many of you will know that Diane has been a driving force on the sales and sponsorship side of BALI and her skill, knowledge, and personality (and jokes!) will be sorely missed. She has been a steady influence and support for members - as you would imagine delivering for and on behalf of our members for over two decades!
Diane is now planning to take some time to enjoy life in retirement and spend time with her family. She said:
“I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of this industry and part of the BALI family for over 2 decades. I would like to thank all the BALI members for their continued support during this period. But the time has come for me now to take some time for me and to explore the big wide world whilst I still have my health, as well as spend time with my family.”
The good news in this difficult recruitment market is we already have Di’s successor in post. We would like to introduce the new Media Sponsorship and Sales Officer Joanna Pieprzak. Joanna joined us on Monday 13 November and brings with her experience in sales and membership organisational experience as well as great energy.
Diane will be working alongside Joanna until the Christmas break to ensure a smooth transition within this role.
Chief Executive, Wayne Grills said:
“Diane has played a huge part in the Association and its success over the years and for that, both I and the board will be eternally grateful for everything she has done. This includes her regional support of members, her input and hard work in many show gardens at various shows, event organising, as well as her ability to have formed superb working relationships with members throughout her tenure. I know she will be sorely missed in and by the Landscape House team.”
