Evergreens UK Group hot-footing it in charity Firewalk for The Air Ambulance Charity

As a Rutland-based business, Accredited Supplier Evergreens UK are keen to support their local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) in helping save lives, with Air Ambulance critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attending an average of five rescue missions a day.

Negotiating the 20 foot long walkway over hot coals, Andy hopes for both a personal achievement and a well-deserving fundraising exercise for the Group’s nominated charity.

“We’re ready to feel the burn - but hopefully not literally! The Air Ambulance Service doesn’t receive any National Lottery funding so it is vital that they are supported by fundraising events and donations.  Each of their air ambulance missions costs around £2,300 and can shorten an emergency trip from hours to minutes - so a few seconds of toasty toes will be worth it if we can help boost much needed funds.”

As well as donations for this barefoot firewalk, the teams across the Group - LazyLawn, ArtificialGrass.com and EverRoof - have been participating in a number of the Charity’s own fundraising initiatives throughout 2024.
