Ground Control appoint Andy Gray to lead new launch.
BALI member Ground Control, the UK’s leading external maintenance and commercial landscaping providers has partnered with the world’s largest electric vehicle charging infrastructure ‘ChargePoint™’ to provide an aesthetically minded approach to electric vehicle charging installations.
With caring for the environment already high on Ground Control’s agenda, their latest offering of supplying and installing charging solutions for electric vehicles is one step of many to help reduce fuel emissions for a more sustainable future.
To lead the launch of the new value-added service, Ground Control has appointed Andy Gray as Business Development Manager. By adopting the same energy-conscious approach and technologically driven solutions, Andy will support the transition to electric transportation, so that corridors, workplaces and cities everywhere can thrive with less air and noise pollution.
The electric vehicle market is growing at a rapid rate, supported by many government initiatives including ‘The Road to Zero’ as well as financial incentives for businesses and homes through the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. Ground Control wants to help businesses, no matter how big or small, become ‘green leaders’ and attract new visitors and retain customers and staff by building an alternative fueling network for the future. The change in refueling habits of EV drivers means that Ground Control’s premium charging solutions will provide customers, employees and visitors with a convenient way to charge their cars and go about their daily business, all whilst caring for the environment.
Andy has built up an impressive career spanning over 30 years, with a broad spectrum of experience including both indirect and direct sales in business-to-consumer and business-to-business, divisional management, sales leadership, training and development. He has worked in large and small organisations, hosting experience that will help Ground Control’s customers to find the right solution to match their needs every time.
Andy commented on his new appointment: “Joining Ground Control is a very exciting move for me. I’m delighted that we are now delivering a smart-charging, eco-friendly infrastructure for our clients, so that their customers can charge their electric vehicles on site at their convenience.
‘’By working with ChargePoint, the world’s largest electrical vehicle charging network, we will help to increase access to EV charging points in the UK and drive the change from fossil fueled vehicles by creating infrastructure for the future that delivers benefits for the driver and our environment.’’
