BALI Registered Contractor idverde’s Michael Voller has been named as one of horticulture’s top 30 talented individuals.

idverde’s Michael Voller has been listed as one of Pro Landscaper Magazine’s ’30 under 30’ winners for 2018 in recognition of his work in the horticultural and landscaping industry to date. The 30 under 30 initiative was launched in 2015 as a way of recognising the work that young people across the horticulture and landscape sectors are putting into their career.

25-year-old Michael is based at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, where he is Team Leader on the North Park. Michael manages a team of gardeners, including apprentices, and also leads volunteer groups who are involved in activities on the park.

One of Michael biggest accomplishments has been the renovations to the North Park area, where he led the works to rejuvenate beds and borders and renovate neglected lawn areas, which are now flourishing. An ongoing project is returning the North Park display meadows to their former glory, with plants being added each year to produce a full flowering display.

idverde’s Operations Manager at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Kevin Stott, says: “Michael has shown exceptional talent and an eye for detail in regards to horticulture since he joined the team here on the Olympic Park. Michael has also recently taken on the mentoring of our new apprentice, which has had a massively positive effect on both parties. This clearly shows Michael’s passion to share his knowledge and experience for the greater good of the team, and his success as one of Pro Landscaper’s 30 under 30s is well deserved.”

Michael is delighted to have been selected for the 30 under 30 Awards, and says: “I’m incredibly proud to have received this award in recognition of my accomplishments on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and to receive such positive feedback from management, colleagues, and clients. I feel very lucky to be able to work on the beautiful Olympic Park landscape every day and be part of such a committed and dedicated team.”

Well done Michael and we wish you all the best in your continuing career at idverde.
