Lowe Maintenance shortlisted for various regional awards
In October 2018, Lowe Maintenance, a BALI Training provider, was shortlisted for three different awards including Yorkshire Finest Rural Awards 2018, Stray FM Skipton and Beyond Awards and Rural Business Awards North.
At Yorkshire Finest Rural Awards 2018 with the Yorkshire Post, Lowe Maintenance won an award for Professional Services to the Community. It was said at the awards ceremony that the judges were extremely impressed with the accomplishments of just two people, training over 1200 candidates over 6 years in 33 different subjects was an amazing achievement. We couldn’t believe that we beat off a solicitors company to win. The awards are held at the Pavilions in Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Show Ground and presented by Harry Gration from Look North News.
At Stray FM Skipton and Beyond Awards, Lowe Maintenance, were shortlisted down to the last three. Being a local award it was a great honour for Lowe Maintenance to be chosen from over 1000 entries in the ten categories. They were chuffed to get into the top three. It was commented that they obviously had a very high standing and are very well thought of in the local community for the 100’s of nominations we received and the wonderful comments that people made. Lowe Maintenance was amazed so many people took the time to vote for them and had such lovely things to say too.
Lowe maintenance were lucky enough to be entered into the Rural Business Awards North for Best Rural Education or Training Business and came in a pleasing second. Between 9th and 26th October, the Rural Business Awards team had travelled across the country, over 1,200 miles in fact, stopping off at each of their six regions to throw a huge celebration of everything rural! In countryside venues near Bolton, Nottingham, Abergele, Bath, Dorking and Ipswich, they had hosted nearly 1,000 people, meeting some of the best rural businesses in Britain and hearing lots of inspiring stories along the way.
