BALI to release its first post-launch patch for its website

30 Jul 2019 | BALI News

As part of the ongoing development work on the BALI website the first major patch will be released later this month following the initial site launch in March 2019. The patch, containing over 20 fixes, includes a number of small performance and stability updates and the addition of several new features that improve usability for members.

  • The latest highlighted document in the member's area was missing a lead image. This has now been fixed.
  • A bug allowed members to book a place on any event in the member's area that was not open for bookings. This has now been fixed.
  • Removed the word restriction for projects in the member's area when adding new or editing previously updated projects. A tooltip has been added to the description field suggesting projects remain at 90 words or less for optimal performance.
  • Refined the list of projects available in the picklist within the member's area when a project is added. Projects will now only appear for your organisation.
  • New filter button added to the top of member directory page on mobile to improve navigation.
  • Refinement to search facility for BALI & ROLO Training Provider listing.
  • Update to member directory to improve synchronisation performance with CRM.
  • Improvements made to HTML editor on event pages.
  • Fixed an issue with company position (i.e. Managing Director) appearing under the telephone field within the ‘meet the team’ section of a member profile.
  • Added a section to the member's area which shows which contacts have a login and whether they are the default or nominated contact (can't edit member's area) of that organisation.
  • Fixed an issue where multiple versions of the same event appeared after conducting an event search.
  • News and events added by BALI members will need to be approved by administrators before publication.
  • Improvements made to page templates, including additional spacing around advertisements.
  • Fix implemented for advertisements that were not opening in a new browser window.
  • Improvements made to ‘help & advice’ template.
  • Nominated contacts can now reset their password and login to the member's area.
  • LISS/CSCS application form improvements including locked field for card category.
  • Improvements made to backend processes including automation.
  • Updates to Cookies and Privacy Policy.
  • Compatibility improvements for mobile devices.
  • General performance and stability updates.

This latest patch release is the first of several updates planned over the coming year, including further improvements planned for the member's area and member profiles.
