Merrist Wood College students visit Chelsea!
Students from BALI & ROLO Training Provider, Merrist Wood College were delighted to have an exclusive tour of the Chelsea Flower Show during the build-up.
Jake Catling, BALI Board Director and Accredited Contractor, TLC, owner took the students on a tour of the grounds, providing them access to exclusive talks with the esteemed designers and contractors, including Thomas Hoblyn, Paul Hervey-Brookes, Gareth K Wilson, Gavin McWilliam and more!
Each designer or contractor gave an overview of their garden, delving into the positive impact the Chelsea Flower Show has on the industry.
The students spoke with Accredited Contractor, Landform Consultants Managing Director, Mark Gregory, who said:
"You cannot underestimate the power of this show. Careers are being made internationally. The world looks at what Britain is doing in its trends, so we should be proud of what we're doing".
Sarah Markham - Merrist Wood College, Business Engagement Specialist said:
"I can't thank everyone involved enough, it was such an amazing experience for the students. We can see how inspired they were following the visit and how much it's got them talking about what they want to do in their future careers, it was really such a positive experience."
