Platipus tree anchor systems raises £1,000 for charities

BALI Registered Affiliate member Platipus was proud to present Perennial and Cancer Research UK with cheques for £500 each. The funds were raised through our online shop ‘Platipus Direct’ and represent the support the site has received from our customer base during a very successful year.

Cancer Research UK is going allocate the money to their priority campaign to cure, prevent and diagnose Cancer in children. This donation will help fund a team of over 2000 doctors and nurses working tirelessly to get the research from the lab into clinical trials.

Perennial is an important charity that is dedicated to helping people who work in Horticulture. Due to our relationship with this industry, Platipus Anchors have not just donated this cheque, but they have also supported other amazing fundraising initiatives including ‘Go Nuts for Perennial’ (Majestic Trees), David Wyndham Lewis's award-winning Perennial Legacy Garden, Party for Perennial, the Perennial Summer Ball and Registered Designer member Kate Gould & Keith Chapman's Kilimanjaro Summit attempt this September.
