Record breaking year for new starters at Green-tech
BALI memeber and Leading landscape supplier Green-tech has recently welcomed two new starters, taking their number of new recruits in this financial year to a record-breaking 16.
Green-tech predicted record growth at the start of their financial year in October 2017 and have recently announced that they are on track to achieve this, smashing many of their previous highs. They have experienced significant growth, hitting their sales targets every month to achieve their highest turnover in the company’s 24-year trading history. The sharp increase in the number of employees was planned for, with two new positions currently being advertised.
The two new starters are Dan Hildreth who has joined as a Dispatch Coordinator in the Operations department and Sam Roddam who strengthens the warehouse team. Both positions result from the significant increase in daily orders that need to be processed. Earlier this year Green-tech restructured its warehousing team and processes to accommodate this increase.
Green-tech has also announced that Lizzy Rose has been promoted to Marketing Manager; taking over from Kate Humes who now takes the position of Marketing Director. These promotions reflect the commitment and drive both have demonstrated and their contribution to helping the company achieve its unprecedented growth.
Marketing Director Kate Humes comments “We have grown substantially but it hasn’t happened by accident. It’s as a result of a clear strategy, hard work and sheer determination with a little bit of luck thrown in. We continually strive to understand and identify the needs of the marketplace; to invest in R&D, to offer the best products, to provide outstanding service; all at the most competitive prices.”
The company, based in North Yorkshire, currently has additional vacancies for a Credit Control Assistant and a Buying Apprentice. They anticipate their staff numbers reaching 90 by the end of the year.
