Leading landscaping supplier and BALI Registered Contractor Green-tech, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year; has been named as the winner of the Industry Partnership category in the Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2018.

Sales Director, Richard Gill comments;

“We are all so pleased to win the Industry Partnership category.  Our submission was based on our unique partnership with award-winning commercial landscapers Ground Control and it’s one that means a lot to me.  I have worked with Ground Control for many years and was instrumental in setting up this formal partnership in 2016.  It’s been a great success and I’m thrilled that both companies have been recognised for our mutually beneficial partnership.”

Pro Landscaper’s Jim Wilkinson said: “Wow! The second Pro Landscaper Business Awards and the competition gets harder and harder to judge. This year, we had a 40% increase in entries and we’ve almost doubled the number of attendees. I’m really pleased for all the winners. There are some really professional, progressive companies within the UK landscaping sector and these awards allow them to be recognised.”

Green-tech was able to positively highlight where their partnership had succeeded. They successfully demonstrated for the judges how their partnership with BALI Registered Contractor Ground Control has helped their business across the specified areas of saving them money, delivering a better service or completing a job, having a major impact on the way they work or enhancing their work in some other way.

In 2016 Green-tech competitively tendered to be the dedicated chemical supplier to the Ground control network and their formal partnership begun. This is an annual process which they have won for three consecutive years. Ground control has a registered network of 750 landscape subcontractors and Green-tech put together a bespoke package for them; which in addition to being their dedicated chemical’s supplier; includes the provision of professional technical advice from BASIS registered technical support staff.  Green-tech commits to holding £1million of products in stock at any time and delivering within 24 hours to the landscape subcontractors onsite.

Heather Goddard speaking for Ground Control said, “We are delighted with how our partnership with Green-tech has unfolded over the last 3 years. We have high expectations and Green-tech have surpassed these at every turn. They are dealing with our Field Teams as specified and their detailed monthly reporting is invaluable; making my life much easier. They have added a great deal to our business.”

Chairman, Richard Kay, adds, “I am really chuffed to win this award.  Our partnership with Ground Control is really important to us and we work hard to provide them with an outstanding service.  Ground Control is a fantastic company to work with; they offer a great service and we’re proud to be able to help them. So, I’d say this award is for both companies; well done and cheers guys!”
