The withdrawal of Industry Accreditation
On 31 December 2024, all LISS/CSCS cards issued under Industry Accreditation will expire, irrespective of the expiry date stated on your card.
The withdrawal of Industry Accreditation
From 1 January 2020, all Land-based Industry Skills Scheme (LISS)/Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards renewed under Industry Accreditation will expire on 31 December 2024 and CSCS will stop issuing the card from 30 June 2024.
The LISS/CSCS is a jointly managed scheme administered by the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) which enables individuals to work on live commercial land-based/construction sites.
Black card holders
Lantra has supported BALI by developing the Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership & Management in Landbased Settings (require relevant field unit breakdown) qualification. Please follow this link to learn more about the course and identify a suitable training provider. This course is available online.
Completing this course will allow you to renew your LISS/CSCS Black Managers card.
Gold card holders
Lantra has supported BALI by developing the Lantra Awards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Landscape and Maintenance) qualification. Please follow this link to learn more about the course and identify a suitable training provider. This course is available online.
Completing this course will allow you to renew your LISS/CSCS Gold supervisory card.
Please be aware:
- All cards issued under Industry Accreditation will have a fixed expiry date of 31 December 202
- Industry Accreditation cards with an expiry date between November 2023 and 30 June 2024 can be renewed once more. The expiry date on the new card will be 31st December 2024
- Any cards with an expiry date prior to November 2023 can no longer be renewed under Industry Accreditation
- you must ensure that your supervisors ROLO Health and Safety and supervisors CITB Touch Screen Test have been completed within the last 2 years when renewing your card
All final applications under Industry Accreditation must be received by the LISS/CSCS team before 4pm on Friday 28 June. Any applications received after this date will be automatically rejected
