The withdrawal of Industry Accreditation

29 Nov 2024 | BALI News

If you or any of your staff hold a LISS/CSCS card gained under Industry Accreditation (grandfather rights) it will expire at the end of 2024 and cannot be renewed.

From 1 January 2020, all Land-based Industry Skills Scheme (LISS)/Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards renewed under Industry Accreditation will expire on 31 December 2024.

The LISS/CSCS is a jointly managed scheme administered by the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) which enables individuals to work on live commercial land-based/construction sites.

Urgent action is required to enable you to be able to continue holding a Blue, Gold or Black LISS/CSCS card after the end of the year. You will need to achieve the following qualifications, depending on which card you want to hold.

Lantra has supported BALI by developing the Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership & Management in Landbased Settings (require relevant field unit breakdown) qualification. Please note:

When applying for any new card, you must ensure your ROLO and CITB are dated within two years of the application and at the correct level for the card you are applying.
